What’s the schedule for Interweave Yarn Fest?
Workshops take place on Thursday, April 12 and run through Sunday, April 15, 2018. Hours for workshops range from 9AM-9PM. Workshop registration opens each day starting on Thursday at 8AM.

The Marketplace is open for shopping on Thursday-Saturday from 10:00AM-6:00PM. An Event Marketplace Pass is $5. Everyone registered for a workshop receives a free weekend shopping pass to the Marketplace. Admittance is limited to the room capacity at all times. Registration for the Marketplace opens at 9AM each day. 

How much does it cost to attend Interweave Yarn Fest?
Register on or before January 1, 2018 and receive $15 off any 3-hour workshop, $25 off any 6-hour workshop and $40 off any 2-day workshop with promo code IWYF18.

An Interweave Yarn Fest Event Marketplace Pass is $5. All students get free admission to the Marketplace. Click here to purchase. 
Additional costs will be associated with our Special Event activities.

Materials fees vary by workshop (some workshops do not have a materials fee) and are in addition to the individual workshop registration fee. Materials fees are collected onsite in the workshop and are due directly to the instructor.

How do I register?
All registrations take place online prior to the show. Please click here to be directed to the registration page. When you register online it is through a secure registration and payment process.

Your registration confirmation will be sent to you via email. You will also receive Yarn Fest updates on workshops, instructors, special events, hotel & travel information and more. (Note: Registration confirmation and email updates are sent to the email address used to register.) Note: An email address is required for every registrant. Your badge and workshop schedule will be waiting for you at Onsite Registration when you arrive at the Embassy Suites Hotel. Onsite Registration opens at 8:00AM, and Marketplace registration will begin at 9:00AM.

What forms of payment do you accept online?
VISA, MasterCard, Discover or American Express.

Are there any other ways to register?
We strongly recommend that you register online because workshops will sell quickly. If you do not have a credit card or are not able to register online, please contact the Yarn Fest staff at You can visit the Onsite Registration desk at the Embassy Suites Hotel beginning Thursday, April 12 at 7:30AM. We accept onsite payment via credit card, or cash. Onsite registration is based on workshop availability and we strongly suggest you check the website prior to the event to see if space is available.

What is the cancellation policy?
If you wish to cancel workshops, you have until February 23, 2018. A cancellation fee of $25 per 3-hour Workshop, $50 per 6-hour Workshop, and $25 per special event activity will be deducted from your refund amount. After February 23, 2018, there are no additional cancellations or changes allowed and no refunds will be provided. There are no exceptions.

How do I add or change workshops?

ADD: The easiest way to add a workshop is to email with your name and the workshop you would like to add to your schedule.

CHANGE: You can swap workshops and make changes to your schedule until February 23, 2018. There is no charge for switching workshops before February 23, 2018.

If you would like to change a workshop you must contact us by emailing between 8:30AM-4:30PM EST.

How do I cancel my registration?
To cancel your registration, please email the Interweave Yarn Fest team at We will cancel your registration and process any applicable refund.

If a workshop is SOLD OUT, can I be put on a waitlist?
Waitlists are not available for SOLD OUT workshops. You can make changes to your schedule through February 23, 2018, so we encourage you to check the website often to see if a seat becomes available.

In order for our instructors to prepare for workshops adequately, workshop switching will not be allowed after February 23, 2018. We supply the instructors with their minimum workshop numbers prior to Yarn Fest taking place. We appreciate your understanding that this policy ensures a fair amount of prep time and reimbursement for our instructors, as well as enough materials present for each workshop member expected.

Can I register for a friend?
We prefer each individual participant handles his/her own registration, but you can register additional attendees. Each additional attendee does require a unique email address.

Can children attend the retreat?
You must be 16 years of age to register for a workshop. By registering for a workshop you agree that you are capable of maintaining the pace of the workshop, or are willing to work at your pace within the schedule of the workshop.

Will I receive a confirmation email?
Yes, you will receive a confirmation email after registering for a workshop. If you did not receive your confirmation, please check your Junk Email folder. If you still do not have your confirmation, please contact us directly for a copy.

What are Materials Fees and how do I pay for these fees?
Materials fees are in addition to the workshop registration fees. Some instructors provide workshop materials for each students–these are called Materials Fees. The materials fees vary from workshop to workshop, and some workshops do not have materials fees. You will pay your workshop materials fees onsite directly to the instructor when you take the workshop.

What supplies do I need for my workshops?
Each workshop has a “materials you are required to bring” list. The items listed will be general supplies, most of which you probably already have. Some workshops also have a materials fee, which covers materials purchased by the instructors in addition to those you’ll be bringing from the “materials you are required to bring” list. Often the instructor will bring additional materials to share.

Do I need to do anything else to prepare for my workshops?
Some workshops may have a small project or task you will need to complete in preparation for the workshop. Please see the workshop description to determine if homework is necessary for your workshop.

How do I get an Interweave Yarn Fest Tote Bag?
To receive a Yarn Fest Tote Bag full of goodies you must purchase 9 or more hours of workshops. You will receive your Tote when you register onsite at the Embassy Suites Hotel. Additional Tote Bags (empty), will be available for purchase during online registration and onsite, based on availability, for $15.

How do I reserve a hotel room for Interweave Yarn Fest?
Interweave Yarn Fest has reserved a block of rooms at the Embassy Suites Hotel and Conference Center at a special discounted rate starting at $179 + tax (single occupancy), which includes free breakfast, free internet in guest rooms, complimentary Manager’s Reception provided by hotel, and free parking.
